Open G is the most common open tuning used to play slide blues guitar. It was used by players like Son House, Robert Johnson and Muddy Waters. This book presents all the building blocks a guitarist need to get started playing in this tuning; scales, chords, turnarounds and most important complete transcriptions of eight blues songs. The songs are composed to provide the player with a wide variety of ways to play the blues in open G. They are also a lot of fun! If you have played for a while and have a basic idea about how to use a slide but want to really enter the world of slide blues this book is for you.
